Start in Spanish and Finish in English
At St. Augustine at Lewis University, we start by assessing your English proficiency level to place you in the right English formation course.
We then deliver the appropriate level of instruction, with options for college credit courses in either Spanish or bilingual formats. Our goal is to help transition non- or basic English speakers into academic English learners by the second year of classes.
The Spanish and Bilingual class topics have been chosen to ensure a smooth progression through the degree program. Meaning, the most elemental topics are offered in Spanish only to be completed in the 1st trimester, while 2nd and 3rd trimester requirements are offered in the Bilingual format.
